DNB CET 2012 from 12th to 17th November: Last Date for Registration 12th November

DNB CET 2012 from 12^th to 17^th November: Last Date for Registration 12^th November 

Diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners. DNB CET for the year 2012-13 will conducted from 17^th to 20^th November, 2012. DNB CET exam is held for admission into various post-graduate Medical courses in India.  National Exams Board has released a notification to this effect on 5^th October, 2012.  DNB Medical examination will be a computer based exam.

Candidates who have completed their MBBS from recognized university or institutes and registered their names in Indian Medical Council or in the State Medical Councils are eligible to write DNBCET.  Apart from this they have to complete their one year internship by 31^st January, 2013.

Applications for DNB CET will have to be sent online at www.natboard.edu.in/CET.  The details of schedule of examination, exam pattern, syllabus for examination etc can be obtained from the information bulletin available at the website.  Application and information bulletin voucher will be available in selected branches of Axis Bank.  The candidates need to pay Rs. 4,250 for obtaining the application.  These will b available from 1^st October to 10^th November, 2012.  Last date for online registrations is 12^th November, 2012. Candidates need to schedule their examination depending on the availability of test center on the date they wish to write.

ICET 2012 Admission Notification: Certificate Verification from 12^th-17^th October 

Hyderabad: ICET Admission notification was released on 5^th October, 2012. ICET is conducted for admission into MBA and MCA courses in Andhra Pradesh. Scrutiny of applications will be done from 12^th to 17^th October, 2012. Options have to be registered from 15^th to 18^th October, 2012. Changes in options are allowed on 19^th October.

Allotment of seats for candidates in MBA and MCA courses in various colleges in Andhra Pradesh will be done on 21^st of October. ICET Admission Committee has informed that complete information about ICET admission will be available in the official website.

Candidates have to go to their nearest ICET help centers to get their certificates verification. OC candidates who have secured 50% marks and SC/ST/BC candidates who secured not less than 45% marks are eligible to attend ICET counseling 2012. The candidates to need to take SSC, Inter and degree marks memos, ninth class to degree study certificates and income certificates.

SC/ST/BC candidates need to produce their caste certificate which is issued by a competent authority. The processing fee for certificate verification is Rs. 600 for OC/BC candidates and Rs. 300 for SC/ST candidates.  ICET counseling will be held at all the district head quarters.

Ingredients

• Oranges (the larger the better)
• Peaches
• Pears
• Grapes

Directions

1. Start by cutting the top portion of the oranges, then carefully hollow out the insides of the oranges, while keeping the skin intact.
2. With the hollowed out orange peels, create your own mini jack-o'-lanterns by cutting out eyes and a mouth.
3. Take the meat of the oranges and mix it in a bowl of diced peaches, pears, grapes and strawberries.
4. Pour the mixed fruit back into the mini jack-o'-lanterns and serve.

2. Spooky Dark Chocolate Frozen Bananas

Chocolate-dipped, frozen bananas are a healthy snack that kids seem to love. You can add a Halloween twist to this snack-time favorite by turning the frozen bananas into spooky replicas of ghosts. These treats offer healthy antioxidants, potassium and other nutrients for a great Halloween snack.

Ingredients

• Dark chocolate
• Bananas

Directions

1. Take some peeled bananas and cut them into halves.
2. Pop the banana halves into the freezer for about an hour, or until they feel firm.
3. Melt the dark chocolate in a pot or microwave them in a microwave safe bowl until you are left with a syrup.
4. Using a knife, carve out some spooky eyes and a mouth on the end tips of each of the frozen bananas.
5. With a dropper, extract some of the dark chocolate syrup and squeeze two small drops to fill the eyes.
6. Add a larger drop of dark chocolate to fill the mouth.
7. Dip the bottom of the frozen banana halves in the remained of the dark chocolate to help them stick to the plate so that you can serve them upright.
8. Let the bananas sit in the fridge for a half-hour so the chocolate hardens, then serve.

3. Halloween Jell-O Cutouts

Jell-O cutouts are the perfect way to create low-calorie, sugar-free, edible creations for your kids. A pack of orange flavored Jell-O mix and some Halloween cookie cutters are the only things you need for this fun dish. If you want to boost the nutritional value of this Halloween snack, add some diced fruit to the Jell-O mixture before popping it in the fridge.

Ingredients

• Orange Jell-O mix (the orange is really to match the festive, Halloween color)
• Diced fruit cocktail
• Boiling water

Directions

1. Pour the boiling water into a large mixing bowl.
2. Add the Jell-O mix to the boiling water and stir until the mix has completely dissolved in the water.
3. Pour the mixture into a 13x9-inch pan, then add the diced fruit to the mix.
4. Refrigerate the mixture for three hours, or until the Jell-O is firm.
5. Dip the bottom of the pan in warm water for 15 seconds to loosen the gelatin.
6. With the Halloween cookie cutters, cut out decorative shapes and serve to your kids.

4. Egg Eyeballs

Hardboiled eggs are a great afterschool snack to serve your kids. During Halloween, you can add a festive twist by turning the eggs into creepy eyeballs. This healthy Halloween snack offers your kids the benefits of omega 3, iron, vitamin A and vitamin D.

Ingredients

• Eggs
• Black olives

Directions

1. Place the eggs in a large pot and fill it with water till the eggs are completely submerged.
2. Put the pot on the stove and heat it until the water comes to a boil.
3. Set the stove heat to LOW after the water has begun to boil, and allow it to simmer for several minutes.
4. Let the eggs sit in the pot for 15 minutes, then remove them from the pot and douse them with cold water.
5. Peel the shells from the hardboiled eggs and slice them vertically down the center.
6. Take a half of a black olive and plunge it into the yolk of each halved egg to create an eyeball.
7. Allow the eggs eyeballs to chill in the refrigerator before serving.

 5. One-eyed Carrot Critters

Your kids might not enjoy their vegetables, but maybe you can convince them to eat these tiny, one-eyed, carrot critters for their next snack. All it takes is a few carrots, some pitted, black olives and some Greek yogurt.
Ingredients

• Carrots
• Black olives (pitted)
• Greek yogurt

Directions

1. Cut the carrots into thick, cylindrical chunks.
2. Spread a dollop of Greek yogurt on the top portion of each carrot piece.
3. Plunge a pitted, black olive into the Greek yogurt for the eyeball to complete the critter and serve.

PlayStation Mobile Releases on Smartphones and PS Vita

Following their announcement two weeks ago, Sony made good on their word and released PlayStation Mobile to "certified" smartphones, tablets and their PlayStation Vita handheld. PlayStation mobile touts the ability to get "PlayStation-like games" on a variety of platforms. Downloading content and games can be done with your PSN account, if you have one.

The games themselves cost about $0.49 to as much as $7.49. The launch title list was long, which means that PS Vita got about 21 new titles, as did the rest of the platforms. You can share games across platforms of course, and Sony says that they're expanding their library all the time. With PlayStation Mobile now open to indie developers for a modest licensing fee, there are sure to be plenty of new games on the way, but for now, here's the launch list:

When is the right time to get married?

There are a whole lot of people out there who are young, successful and looking forward to settle in their lives. Talking of marriage, everyone is aware that at one point or the other, most of us wish to have a partner for life. But the biggest question is when the right time to get married is?

Frankly speaking, there are no specified parameters like time and age to get married. It's your instincts that guide you the best whether to go for it or not. However, there are a few signs and situations which can serve as hints for a couple to decide on the wedding thing. Some of the marriage hints mentioned in here can be kept in mind before finally giving it a go.

Ask yourself a few questions, for instance, am I in love? Well there may be a thousand other reasons to get married but the one which matter most is 'love'. Marriage is a social union of two people, one can't afford to undo it easily once it is done. So be very careful on that part.

The next question may be is it your age and social pressure which is bothering you to get married and this is the reason you just want to slide into it? If yes, please stop right here. Age should not be the criteria to get married unless you are a school going minor and you still depend on your parents for finances.

The next thing that comes into play is money. Can you support a family? Obviously once you are married, it's not only about you. There are other people in the scene, it may be your partner including children. No one wants to have bitter family experiences, so it would be better to design a practical, budget plan and test it before the marriage.

Think about where will you and your partner go after the wedding? Is it easy for you to talk about personal issues with your partner? Are you comfortable with your future spouse's relatives?

Answer yourself these questions and then decide for yourself when is the right time for you to get married.
