Actress Doubles Fee Following Success of 'Animal': Industry Buzz

 

Triptii Dimri has been the talk of the town since last December. After setting the screens ablaze with her stellar performance and sizzling chemistry with Ranbir Kapoor in 'Animal', she is now grabbing eyeballs with 'Bad Newz'. Starring opposite Vicky Kaushal and Ammy Virk, Triptii looks glamorous in the songs released so far — "Tauba Tauba" and "Jaanam". Fans eagerly anticipate her next moves, and recent reports claim Triptii has doubled her fee after the success of 'Animal'.

According to Siasat.com, Triptii was paid Rs 40 lakhs for 'Animal'. However, following her rise in popularity, she is reportedly charging between Rs 80 lakhs to 1 crore. The report also suggests she has quoted a similar fee for 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3'. News18 could not verify these claims at the time of publishing.

After the release of 'Animal', Triptii was dubbed the new ‘national crush’. At the trailer launch of 'Bad Newz', she was asked if this title bothered her. She responded, “In my experience, luckily, I would like to thank God. As many films as I have done in my career, whether they are the older films that I did earlier, or the ones that have released recently, I have received a lot of love from my audience. People have liked my work and have spoken about it. Initially, when I came into the industry, I always wanted people to talk about my work and nothing else. Luckily, when my films have released, they have spoken about my work. I think these things motivate us actors to do better in life and to keep working on our craft and I think, that way I have been very fortunate.”

Triptii, known for her roles in films like 'Laila Majnu', 'Bulbbul', and 'Qala', recently rose to prominence with her portrayal of Zoya in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s 'Animal', starring Ranbir Kapoor. The action-packed film also featured Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, and Shakti Kapoor. She will now be seen in 'Bad Newz', directed by Anand Tiwari, followed by 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3', directed by Anees Bazmee. The third installment of the popular franchise, also featuring Vidya Balan, is scheduled for a Diwali 2024 theatrical release.
